About Us
Who we are
We are a non-profit service club composed of business and professional women from the greater Dayton area. Our membership number is +/- 100 and always growing.
What we do
We focus on supporting our youth and community through service.
- We give out two $1,000 youth Scholarships annually
- We sponsor Kettering Middle School Jr. Optimist Club
- We support Preschool Family Literacy
- We conduct Essay and Oratorical contests each year
- We conduct a Respect for Law program
- We host the Area Wide Youth Appreciation Banquet each year
- We conduct our annual Childhood Cancer program
- We support the Kettering Backpack Program
- We provide a Girl Power program
- We partner with other area Optimist Clubs to provide a free Kids Day in the Park event
- We provide judges for local science, social studies, and art fairs
All while having a blast!
